Our Online Foundational Programme

Our foundation modules establish basic psychological skills utilised in many performance strategies. Build a firm foundation over 12 weeks, with weekly content delivered online through 1-2-1 consultation. Over the course of the programme you address each of the 4 topics below.

Relaxation
Many athletes develop their own techniques for achieving a relaxed state prior to, and during, performance. This is usually achieved by a rather unstructured, an instinctive means by many. Other athletes have developed their ability to relax through formal instruction in relaxation techniques.
Goal Setting
Set long-term and short-term goals that are realistic, measurable and time-bounded. Be aware of your current performance level and be able to develop specific, detailed plans for achieving your ambition. Be highly committed to your goals and carry out the daily demands of your training programmes.
Imagery & Mental Rehearsal
Prepare yourself for competition by imagining yourself performing well in competition. Create and use mental images that are detailed, specific, and realistic. Use imagery during comeptition to prepare for action and recover from errors and poor performances.
